“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” 1 Peter 4:10 (ESV)
Serving together is a blessing to those around us, builds community, and is a great way to get to know others at MHCC. Everything we do at MHCC simply wouldn’t be possible without our teams of committed volunteers. Here are some areas you can help:
Hospitality Teams welcome, inform, and serve every person that comes to MHCC. There are a variety of opportunities to serve both on Sunday mornings and at special events.
Media & Production Everything you see and hear on a Sunday morning, in the MHCC app, or on the website is made possible by a team of skilled individuals who work together to bring you a positive experience and keep you informed. If you have experience in sound engineering, media presentation, web development, or graphic design, we need you! Training is also available in multiple areas for those who want to learn.
MHCC Groups are small groups who meet regularly to share a common interest, discussion topic, or curriculum and provide opportunities to connect with the people of MHCC. Groups are for adults of all ages and stages of life, regardless of spiritual maturity or knowledge and new groups begin every other month.
MHCC Kids is offered Sunday mornings for children 10 months – 5th grade. As we teach them about God’s story and love, our hope is to inspire and equip our kids to know God and share His love with others.
MHCC Women’s Ministry meets monthly and hosts special events throughout the year. They would love your help caring for and ministering to the women of MHCC!
Prayer Teams gather on Sunday mornings before and after the service to pray for the needs of others. We believe it’s important to offer safe, structured, and accessible opportunities to pray and be prayed for. The prayer teams also receive online prayer requests throughout the week.
Worship Services are held on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM. Our hope is that everyone who attends will be encouraged to pursue a relationship with God, experience healthy community, and be equipped to live the mission. Rotating teams practice during the week and lead us in worship on Sundays. We ask those wishing to serve on the Worship Team to review our Worship Team Handbook prior to filling out a Worship Team Application.
Youth Groups for students 6th-12th grade meets on Wednesday nights for fun games and practical, relevant bible teaching. The youth group leaders are passionate about nurturing healthy relationships, and empowering & equipping our youth to follow Christ.
