Sunday Gatherings

Mount Helena Community Church meets on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. at 1710 National Avenue in Helena.

What kind of a church are you?

Mount Helena Community Church (MHCC) is an independent, non-denominational church (find out more on the About page). We gather on Sunday mornings to worship.

What can I expect at a Sunday morning service?

  • Our service begins at 10:00 a.m. with 20-25 minutes of worship (typically led by a full band), followed by brief announcements.
  • Kids ministry is currently available for those from 10 months old through 5th grade throughout the service. Kids can be checked into their classrooms up to 15 minutes before the service begins.
  • Following worship and announcements we’ll hear a message from one of our elders or a special guest, and dismiss by 11:10.
  • Communion, baby dedications, and baptisms are incorporated into the service throughout the year.

Throughout the service, you’ll find hosts at the Welcome Center and volunteers at the KidCheck stations ready to answer any questions you may have.

What is available for children on Sundays?

MHCC Kids classes for children 2 years – 2nd grade and nursery for 10-24 months are available throughout the service.

Kids can be checked into their classrooms up to 15 minutes before the service. MHCC uses KidCheck for your child’s safety. You’ll find clearly marked MHCCkids check-in stations in the lobby on Sunday mornings, with a volunteer nearby to answer any questions. You can register for KidCheck ahead of time to make Sunday check-in quick and easy.

When service begins, kids preschool-5th grade and their classroom leaders gather in the Green Classroom for group worship time and a lesson. They then return to their classrooms with their leaders for discussion and games.

REGISTER YOUR CHILD

Kids that are too young for the nursery or who would rather stay with their parent are welcome to be in Auditorium for any part of the service. Nursing mothers are welcome to use the nursery or the Fireside Room (adjacent to the auditorium, accessible through the lobby) is available.
